I was tasked with the comprehensive development of the website for IBERLAND, a company specializing in fish raw materials for the food industry. This project was carried out using WordPress, strictly following the design guidelines provided by the client. As a web developer, I ensured the entire project perfectly aligned with their expectations, delivering a clean, functional, and professional website.
One of the main features of this project was the multilingual structure, with the website available in three languages to cater to a diverse audience. This was a key aspect of the design to ensure accessibility and effective communication across different regions.
Simplicity and Efficiency
A fundamental aspect of this project was minimizing the use of plugins. Except for essential tools and plugins related to cookies or web tracking, additional plugins were avoided to maintain optimal performance and reduce maintenance issues. Instead, custom CSS, JavaScript, and custom WordPress functions were used to implement the required functionality, ensuring full control over the code and adaptability of the project. This approach ensures the website remains fast and efficient while reducing potential maintenance challenges over time.
